There is no more Andalusian dish than salmorejo nor more Spanish dish than tortilla de patatas, that is why we invite you to enjoy a wonderful day learning how to cook these feasts with us. First stop will be the traditional market (Mercado) in Vélez-Málaga, where we will buy all the fresh ingredients to cook both dishes. After that we will drive you to Café Mediterráneo, where we will be doing the workshop behind closed doors. We will teach you how to cook salmorejo in the first place, a delicious tomato soup that charms everyone that tastes it. While the salmorejo chills, we will begin to cook the tortilla by peeling the potatoes. After cooking the tortilla, the banquet will begin: chill salmorejo as first dish and a good portion of tortilla as second dish. By making this workshop you will learn the true recipe of both dishes and you will be able to cook them afterwards at home.
