Go deep into the rural world, contemplate the Mediterranean landscape and go for a walk with one of the most characteristic animals in Malaga.
Description and itinerary
We will pick you up and drive you through the mountains of la Axarquía. This landscape is completely different from the one in the Costa del Sol but we are sure that it will fascinate you as well.
Once we arrive to our destination, we will meet Antonio and his goats, and we will join them in a walk through paths and cliffs. That’s why this experience is recommended for those who are used to go for long walks!
While herding goats through picturesque landscapes, you will have the opportunity to get to know a bit more about the life of a goatherd in Malaga – which is an endangered occupation, about nature, and about the mediterranean flora and its landscapes.
A highlight of the experience awaits with a delectable goat cheese tasting session. Indulge in a selection of artisanal goat cheeses crafted from the milk of the very goats you’ve spent the day with. Delight your taste buds with a variety of flavors, each as unique as the landscape that surrounds you.
Optionally and to finish this experience we will drive you to one of the best restaurants in the area to enjoy a delicious dinner made with local products.
