Description and itinerary
Ronda is known for its breathtaking views from its Puente Nuevo and its Plaza de Toros, one of the oldests in Spain.
Setenil de las Bodegas, located in the mountains of Cadiz, hides a wonderful secret: many of its houses are built directly on a rock ledge, making it one of the most unique and original villages in Spain.
Starting this trip, we will pick you up and take you to Setenil de las Bodegas. Along the way you will begin to sense the difference in landscape between the coast and the interior of the province of Malaga.
There we will make a guided visit in which we will discover the history of this pretty town and its most picturesque corners. In addition, you will have the opportunity to buy delicious local products. You will fall in love with Setenil’s narrow streets and old town!
After the visit to Setenil we will take you to the beautiful Ronda. During the guided tour, you will discover all the points of interest:
We will take a stroll through the Alameda Gardens and the Balcones del Tajo; we will pass by the Plaza Monumental de Toros (Ronda’s bullring – which we can visit if you wish); we will cross the famous Puente Nuevo, where you will marvel at its impressive views; we will visit the Medina, where we will get lost in its narrow streets and squares, and we will discover a 19th century Palace House; we will also walk through the heart of the old part of Ronda: the Plaza Duquesa de Parcent, a square where we will admire the Church of Santa María la Mayor and its Town Hall.
Once our visit is over, we will recommend the best places to taste the delicious local gastronomy. Then, we will take you home after this unforgettable day!

There were just 4 of us on the trip. Cipriano picked us up on time in his gleaming and very comfortable Mercedes mpv. He is an excellent guide, very personable and considerate. We had a fascinating insight into the history and geography of both Setenil and Ronda thanks to his knowledge of and passion for his homeland (…).

Yesterday I visited Ronda with Oletrips. Cipri was the driver, guide and organiser of the day. I was picked up on time and driven with four others to Setenil and then on to Ronda.
(…) I had been to Ronda before but Cipri introduced new and interesting parts that I did not know existed. One of our group lost her purse and Cipri went to find it. Unfortunately it had gone but he went out of his way to try to retrieve it.
On the way home we were delayed by a serious accident. This did not deter Cipri who found a parallel road to travel in. Nothing is ever too much trouble for this man and Company. Thank you oletrips for a truly memorable trip.
