Comares: Balcony of la Axarquia (from May, 15th until September, 1st)

No doubt that visiting Comares is a must if you are staying in la Axarquia or nearby. Flamenco Night

Come with us to live an experience you will never forget: an immersion into flamenco dancing and all that comes along with it. Flamenco dancing was considered Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2010. First stop will be a cajón flamenco (box drum) workshop in Torrox where you will learn the history of this instrument so used in flamenco. After the workshop we will go to Nerja to enjoy an authentic flamenco night…

You will probably have heard about the beaches in Torrox but its historic center full with flowers and arabic architecture is well worth a visit. After this visit we will drive you to beautiful Cómpeta. Cómpeta is known in all the region to produce the best wines, so visiting a wine cellar is a must. Our last stop will be Sayalonga, where we will enjoy an Andalusian lunch…

Raisin Route (from August, 15th until October, 15th)

Rasins from moscatel grapes in la Axarquía are characterised by its great size and its intense sweetness. It is an exquisit, healthy nourish listed as Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System by FAO. We will visit Monclinejo, El Borje and Almáchar, capital of the moscatel grape. We will vist an Andalusian country house with breathtaking views and a traditional raisin production system, where you will see for yourself how are they made…

Olive oil and Mountains Route (from October, 15th until April, 15th)

Become an expert in olive oil with this tour by visiting a centenarian olive plantation and an Andadalusian country house which has its own oil mill and taste its olive oil. Have lunch in the oldest inn in Andalusia and enjoy a typical plato de los montes, visit the Museo del Bandolero (a bandit museum) and the villages of Alfarnate and Alfarnatejo.

Mediterranean Route (from April, 15th until November, 1st)
